The Storytelling of Delan - Revived and Updated - New Stories Added! Will Update Occasionally!
Hey - I was just wondering...
Do any of you guys read my journals? What do you think about my latest sketches? I do agree they could use more work, but....
And the same goes for my stories? I am sorry for taking eons inbetween each chapter, but it seems like the muse is trying to screw me over from time to time by eking out dribbles of creativity rather than my torrent that I used to have.
Anyway. :)
I'd appreciate a little feedback :) Thanks.

i read them and see them!!!
your sketchs are ok, i like how you have done them!
and you know i read your stories!!
hope the 'muse' gets better!!
hope all is well
I’m writing something at the moment and omg is it long...............curse my over active and creative brain!!!!!!
well its 15 pages long and about 12000+ words, it was meant to be chapter 2 but i thinking about chopping it into chapters 2 and 3 and there are ideas for 4 and 5 in the box.
so have way to go and its not helped by the dyslexia.................its evil!!!
thank you very much! *hugs*
i was wondering where do you get your ideas from?
i mainly get mine from reading other stories be them furry or not and i also get quiet a few while i am just about to doze off and just waking up (they have a habbit of bugging me through the day if i wake up with an idea)
"What if Logan was gay?"
"What if nanotechnology was made available in the near future - how would it affect someone? Would there be any side effects?"
Society of Weres did come from a dream. I had a dream about someone going through an initiation to become a Werewolf, and the story "Flipping Out" came from that.
And for other ideas -- they tend to come from reading other people's stories.
The Genie story idea? - well, basically I read someone else's story. All the ones I had found seemed to end up in an sexual orgy or lots of sex. Or the genie was twisted, and somehow hurt your main character by not quite doing the wish.
So I thought... "Why can't there be a (er, more) good genie(s)?" and then of course, I had to put my own 'sexual' aspect -- A genie seducing his master, and then possibly falling in love. ;) And, no, it's not like I dream of Jeannie, lol. My main character won't keep him in a lamp ;) and there might be other hooks leading to other adventures if I ever get to it ;)
LOL. Sorry for the 20 page long reply ;)
i guess we all get our own ideas from other peoples work or they come to use as the go about are 'normal' lives as we see the things around use are shown to use in a different light be it in are dreams or through are imagination.
like have been thinking about writing a story about a school bully/popular kid that becomes a werewolf after he leaves school and the people he met there, only to meet up with one of the people that he was horrible to when he tries to look for some food one the persons farm (that he did not know they lived there) and the fall in love (with the odd bump in-between)
but i am writing something else at the mo so it on the shelf.
..........it gets very confusing sometimes!!!!!!!
And I took a look at your sketches when I added you but I didn't comment on them because I was putting it off b/c I'm lazy (but that means I'll like never end up commenting on them lol). But yeah your sketches are not bad. It will def help to draw bigger and not draw on lined paper. I can tell from the lined paper that you also draw pretty small :3
As for reading stories, I'm saving it for when I have a lot of quiet time to concentrate and read. My mind wanders pretty easily, and when I read sometimes I'm just going over the words but not really interpreting it, so I can 'read' pages and pages of a book and then realize I didn't actually read any of it, and have to go back x_x;
And you can try drawing faces from many directions. Drawing faces from profile and "3/4" view can help your faces from the front look better :)
Tracing can also help, just don't post it and say you drew it or something. But you can use it to practice. If you're drawing with paper, just get tracing paper. Find a picture of a face and like... just trace it. Trace the lines you think are most important and stuff.
That's all the tips I have for drawing heads, lol. I draw lots of heads XZD; I used to draw only heads for a really long time, too.
If you notice, faces and certain areas are the only things I can draw consistently LOL Everything else I mess up half the time.
