Crap...

My laptop died last Wednesday, and now refuses to even start. Apparently theres a crack in one of the processors. But, until then, I won't be doing anything unless I can get on at school. (I am right now) Just a heads up. Hopefully I'll have it fixed by the end of the week. >.<

I remember before I had my own computer...itsuckedsomuchD:< A cracked processor sounds like a pricey repair, hope you get it fixed soon though!

Luckily it was a hardware issue so the warranty covers it, but yeah, it would've cost about $30 for a new processor, then another $25 to get it put in. >.< Thank god for protective policies.

eek! This computer I've got- it was my dad's before he got a different one- anyway, the harddrive died at one point right after the warranty ended, and so did I think the video card. Or something- at any rate, it was awful, and when the backup drive failed, that's when he decided he'd had enough.

Ouch, that's gotta hurt. Harddrives are HARD to find around here, same for just about any computer part now that I think about it...but yeah, that sucks much. I hope you managed to get a new one, right?

oh yeah, It's fine now, It's got a harddrive in it- I've got to put in a backup drive, but other than that it's running like the lil' trooper it is. :3 It's a desktop though, so it's a lot easier to put stuff in and out than a laptop- if I had a laptop, i'd be royally screwed with all the repair costs it would have XD

Yep, but for me and my game programming, a laptop was the only choice. And, good point, I should really start backing up my own files in the future. In case, you know, THIS happens again.
