and if God wants to save souls why would he care what we love, as soul and spirit is where the core root of the emotion love comes from phisical body is only part of the equation. Btw, the original English translation of the Bible likely had some mistranslations as well - it was translated from German, which was translated from Latin, Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, etc. Hebrew itself is a highly idiomatic language, making translation difficult unless the translator understands the context...
