a new problem

well today was all and dandy woke up got ready did my arrons until the donut gasket that sits behind the engine and infront of the catalytic converter and the pipe that goes into the exhaust manifold somehow blew off on my fox and now the car is obnoxiously loud i mean its sounds about what my 76 corolla sounded like and the corolla only had a dual tip 3a racing muffler with a glass pack pipe and no catalytic converter onmy fox it has one stock muffler and the catalytic converter but without this donut piece its not like my corolla the corolla sounded better then my fox does. anyways i can't afford to get it fixed for a while it sucks i never have any luck with cars it seems but this fox runs better then my past cars and the gaskets are still good.

well at least its not something really major, like a head getting blown or one of the pistons freezing

indeed thank god i just looked at it and found out i need to replace the whole catalytic converter because the bracket thing that olds the pipe to the converter the rusted bolts on that snapped off and its $120 for a catalytic converter plus an extra 30 for the bracket tingys.

hey ive had to replace a CC before, and thats cheaper then what it cost for my truck i had to work on...ended up costing me around 400 for everything

and also the reason the engine blew in my corolla is the oil pump went out cause the oil light was flickering meaning not enough oil pressure was being made so on that note it was more of the oil pump then the head gasket.
