blah... so iv heard.. i hate to wait..

I had to do jury duty a few years ago. It was booooooring :p You get assigned a number and if you're number is called you go with the bailif and the other jurors called to the court room. You might be asked some questions like "do you know the plaintiff or defendent" ect. If selected you sit on the jury, hear the arguments and evidence, and then are sent to a room where the jurors as a group deliberate. One juror is selected to be the foreman; this person will read the verdict when back in the courtroom. When I did jury duty, my number was the first one called, but I was not selected for the jury and was sent back down to the waiting room. I did nothing for the rest of the day; it was sooo boring. I recommed bringing a book :p and make sure you dress professionally! I saw too many people that were dressed like bums (not the homeless kind either :p). Remember you're decision can have a life altering affect on your fellow man if it's a criminal case. I was happy do my civic duty; I don't understand why so many people bitch about doing it :p
