I didn't have much of one. For a while I wanted to be a veterinarian, but around the age of eight I started to say that I wanted to work on video games, but I knew I wasn't seriously interested in it.

Either writing well, or drawing/painting well, or music. I figure the most important aspect of talent is if you're good enough to make a living out of what you want to do.

Government spending on medical research. The military and large agricultural corporations receive far more money than they need, and that's money that could be spent saving millions of lives - a cure for malaria would save 3 million lives per year. Incidentally, Bill Gates' approach to philanthropy is to treat everyone as equally valuable, so the Gates Foundation tries to save as many lives as it can through it's funding. Most of it's funding is medical.
