Hmm, what has the virus done?

Well it appeared as one of thous "virus protection programs" and is popping up every 5 minutes saying I have a virus and any program that I try opening it says it's infected and won't let me open it. My AVG found them and asks if I want to get rid of them but win I say yes it seems to freeze up.

Hmm, sounds like a problem, but alas, the extent of my computer knowledge is limited to basic internet use and such.

In any case, it's obviously spyware of some type and shouldn't be dealt with lightly.

My computer actually fixed itself, the anti Virus program kicked in and DESTROYED it
