Having watched Lady Gaga's and Beyonce's music video on Telephone I was struck with several key interpretations of the film. Gaga's entrance to the prison is symbolic of her entry into the world of professional music production. Gaga feels that the music industry is a prison that you cannot escape from, and that once you are branded as "owned" by a certain record label it is impossible to escape that. This point is illustrated by Lady Gaga being warped in crime scene tape. Once she is released from prison and in the company of Beyonce it is clear she has history with her, as they speed away in the Pussy Wagon.

The scene where Lady Gaga and Beyonce are in the restaurant also makes some strong opinionated statements about, you guessed it. The music industry. The man who Beyonce and Gaga kill is a representation of a corrupted musician, lustful for only money and fame. Gaga and Beyonce are using the poison to end the trail of disease and wrong within the music industry itself, they are radical idealists that are bringing about a change.

This is only my first interpretation of the video, and omg I can't wait for the next one :D
