An 'Art Hero' of Mine - Louis Agassiz Fuertes, AND MORE!

Fuertes was an all-around naturalist, artist and writer, an American 'renaissance man' of sorts.
Traditional media, folks. No airbrush tools here.
Take a look at his line art - so clean, so crisp, yet full of dynamic energy. This is what I strive for when I draw birds. I want to convey the natural energy of the subject as a living being, not as a specimen.

COMING SOON: North American Bird ACEOs! Reminiscent of the 'Bird Cards' I did last summer, but done actual ACEO size - 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. I will poke the local Audubon Society for potential publishers, 'cause I'm not just doing this for the exercise!
Examples, to be reworked ACEO-size:

GRYPHON TAROT SHELVED INDEFINITELY
I am no longer working on the Gryphon Tarot project, which has been shelved indefinitely. If you want to see a real Gryphon Tarot project that is worthy of attention, see
silvermoon's gallery. I know when I am out-classed, and I am definitely out-classed here. No worries - I will just point a talon at an awesome project and move on with my own projects.
Instead of flailing away at my own Gryphon Tarot, which I've been working on-and-off for six years with not-great results, a new project has flown into my mind:
***2011 GRYPHON CALENDAR.*** Yup. 13 images, PG-13, feral gryphons, in settings that relate to the turning of the seasons (in the Northern Hemisphere). Now to find a potential publisher that won't wiggle out on me at the last moment - any suggestions?
