Zebress is bound for Montreal, Canada!

I'm moving for a job in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. On June 1st or so I should be there. If anyone knows of any cool places to go in quebec, or ontario, I'd love to know.
Possibly if there is any cool places in Montreal itself... cool stores or things to see, I want to see it all when I go there. Of course I'll be there for at least 3 years or so.
And, if anyone is a local and can suggest nice, but cheap apartments near a metro station, that would be gold. :D

And I only know a couple people (acquaintances really) that live up there. :/

I am moving to Charleston SC chasing grand children.
I've never been to Quebec myself, and I've heard lots of Canadians have all sorts of negative ire towards Quebec for a variety of reasons. One most popular seems to be that Quebec had threatened to become its own independent country, and France said if they do, they'd cut them off entirely, financially.
Still, hope you have fun in Montreal!
