Found a sliver of gold in the creek today, some dried up animal bones, and a decent amount of old lead shot. Made a 5-minute sluice box out of scrap metal and old carpet; but hell, it works.
I'd love to get an actual decent amount from this. :I Finding a nugget would be pretty sweet right now.

Michigan's got loads of 'em. Lots of dense forest area too though.
Still, there's gotta be something. We have a good 20 acres of farmland and woods just filled with creeks and rivers, so a lot of gold flakes like to wash up there. I'd like to get a good amount of it, just so I can show people my findings and have it as a trophy.
My fedora's would fit in on the adventure theme >:3
