Harmony, Formspring, and Vore Videogame
Ello everyone,
Just a simple run down of things this journal. First off, if you haven't checked out this drawing program, you should: It's fun, easy to use, and just makes simple sketching look fantastic x3 the wonders of programing and mathematics into the artistic world! (I've drawn a few pictures already and probably will upload later in scraps, vore just looks so much better in this program because of its auto detailing around the lines x3 )
http://mrdoob.com/projects/harmony/#sketchy
I'd give you a link to the pictures I drew buuuuuut I found out the hard way that the url address is INFINITE!!! (warning, do NOT attempt to copy and paste the resulting image to any one in a messenger... or ANYWHERE!! it's TOOOOOO LOOOONG)
Now, onto something a bit more pertinent: The Vore Videogame Project I have in the works.
Currently I'm still very much at the beginning still brainstorming ideas. One thing I'm caught at is to either make this game 3D or 2D or some kind of combination of both.
There are pros and cons to both, a pro for 3D would be easier to animate, alot of pokemon models I can use from sources as a base and modify as needed. 2D overall would probably take less time and I could fit to more of a style, the vore scenes would be easier to drawn and make them appear some what real.
They also have their cons: 3D would be very hard to animate to make the vore look right unless I'm going for kirby style cute vore or I control the vore instances with dynamic camera angles (think god of war when you press O to do that sequence with an enemy, now remove blood and gore and insert vore x3). Also It probably would take longer to work on getting all the models and effects finished. 2D would not be as original (lots of vore games in 2D, already some one I know is making a pokemon 2D vore game: voremon ) have to hand draw and animate it all, and ultimately it wouldn't feel as immersive.
See, what I'm going for is sorta like pokemon, you'll have a basic set of moves but it'll all be real time battles. The environment and gameplay will be platforming and puzzling similar to kirby in that you'll need the abilites of other creatures to progress (IE need the ability to jump hi so you'll consume one with a high jumping ability)
but I'm thinking of also making it RPG ish, where you're more or less in the pokemon world, fending for yourself but at the same time you got an overlaying story and way to go if you want to and when you want to. So you can spend all the time you want scavenging a forest say to find items, special rare Pokemon to eat etc or infiltrate a human facility and see what you can find there, you'll also have to hide out for when you'll need to sleep and or digest. But when you want you can continue on in the story and find more areas, more things to consume and things to find and progress the overall story.
So ultimately again I'm trying to just choose a Dimension to work in. 2D, 3D, or hey even combine the two and make a sorta 2.5D game! Like 3D models but on a 2D plane (kinda like how the pokemon remakes work) OR go for 2D animated sprites interacting in a 3D rendered environment, or maybe just the background is 3D but still on a 2D plane.
Well, I dunnuh x3 I got alot of big ideas and obviously will have to trim lots of fat. I don't want to make this OVERLY complex, I would like to complete this within a reasonable amount of years x3 Just let me know what you all think!
O and in the future I may call upon community help for other ideas, this may come in the form of contests where the prize may be inclusion in the game itself ;3 !!
last but not least~ I did it, I made a formspring x3 go ahead, ask me ANYTHING ya want! :3

Dimension: I don't have a definite answer -- would you be able to test a lil of each before putting too much work in, that way you can see if the extra work would be worth it?
Formspring: Nuuuuu! Everyone's making these, and I'd love to ask questions, but I don't have any to ask because I hardly know them/you D: Can't ask questions if I have nothing to ask aside from the generic "What do you do in your free time," "what are your aspirations," etc.
Ya, most likely I'll do at least some 3D vore work before attempting the game x3 Probably a good idea to make some quick betas to see how they'd play.
x3 well, when you do find something to ask go ahead and do so!
2nd: *Didn't read it*
3rd: nothing that anyone want to go to. bored.
awr, sorry your bored :( *hugs*
Do you mean they fight each other and the winner eats the loser?
Or do you mean the winner is the one who eats the other?
I prefer the latter option.
I had my own idea for a vore game, but I'm never going to be able to do it.
And never give up :3 you'll find a way!
Is it worked into the combat or is it just in cuscenes after the combat's finnished?
