Flash Disaster - Furnal Equinox - Webkinz Mania

Flash DisasterJust before I left home to go to my first con, I had just about finished a weight gain animation in Flash. I was about an hour and a half from completion when Flash OBLITERATED the file!!! Gone...like it had never even existed in the first place. Three days of hard work...completely vanished into cybernothingness.
And I did all the wrong things before looking up the problem on the internet...so there was no way for me to remedy the problem. I was so pissed off...
The moral of the story: if you are working with Flash...WORK WITH YOUR FILE ON THE C:\ DRIVE not on a network drive!
Furnal EquinoxI went to my first furry convention, Furnal Equinox in Toronto. I went with
feathery whose birdsuit needed lots of last minute adjustment and sewing from me, but was fabulous! I attended a class in making fursuit heads, and a basic drawing class as well...now I'm confident enough that I will be able to make a hippo fursuit at some point, and my artwork will improve a little more. I commissioned two pieces from
xenotropos who did a fabulous job in a very quick time!The highlight of the convention though was going out to dinner with
hypr, 
mmm-dumpling, and feathery at the Japanese restaurant in the hotel which had a chef who was very fond of making meter-tall flames on the cooking table in front of us!Webkinz ManiaA few days later,
feathery and I hung out with mmm-dumpling and visited many fun toy stores and pet shops on a rainy day in Toronto. 
Dodge was working in one of the malls we visited, and we popped by to visit him. In the Hallmark Store, I found a brown hippo plushie...a "Mud Hippo" from Webkinz.
Well...now I'm totally addicted to playing in the online Webkinz World!!! So if any of y'all have pets on there...gimme a holler!
And Canada wins the Potatoe Chip Flavouring Gold Medal! All Dressed!!!
