Its finally here, the first day of spring. It doesn’t much feel like it compared to these past few days but still. I’ve had a long hard winter, not because of the cold, but because of my relationship falling through, and everything else. It was very hard on me. This past Christmas was by far the worst yet. I never want to feel like that ever again. I never want to hurt someone like I did ever again. I am not going to go into detail about what exactly happened because its in the past, and I want it behind me for good. I want to move forward.

I have found a wonderful new man to share my life with. Its silly I know but spring to me means a new life, a new beginning and this year it’s really hitting home. With no more snow on the ground I feel somewhat freed. I no longer have to hide behind thick sweaters but I instead I can wear a nice top and embrace the warmth of the air and sun.. and my mate.

I am eager to see where my life will take me from here, what paths I will wander down, where I will end up. With my ex I felt restricted as to what I could do in life as well as in the furry fandom. Now I feel as if I’m a horse who’s been unhitched and free to run and explore. I want to experience everything new and exciting to me, I want to see everything I’ve missed thus far in my life.
