they should have these at cons, to capture the drawings that happen on all the whiteboards, easels etc that happen at the cons. so instead of having to go around taking pictures of all the funny arts people draw in headless lounges at cons or an the freely available standing easels it can automatically be digitized and stored digitally <3

I learned about the mimio device in highschool, one of the earth science teacher's who also was the advisor to the computerized wargaming club i was a member of (I did descent, most others of the club did starcraft) used the device to help his students with the whiteboard classroom notes. Many other teachers weren't thrilled with him using the device because he paid for it with his own money and they're expensive especially on a teacher's salary. He was the teacher that got me into Geographic Information Systems or GIS.
