Urgh.. what day is it?
Urgh, between trying to be a sociable person and keeping up on my gaming (either personal or for the webcast I do on sundays) I've been too busy to write or draw any, it's terrible. I'm even losing track of the days at this point, such that I noticed that I'm going to have to get to work on a few things. So I'm thinking I'll start up work on the next installment of my fanfiction of Knighthood probably next week, including the art that I plan to have accompany each chapter(as I had planned on making this a monthly thing). I've done a few rough sketches of what I'd like to do for the fanart, but nothing has really settled.
The biggest concern I have at this point is that I'm fast catching up on the story in the comic and would like to write some more to keep people entertained while the katbox crew moves on to their other bonus material. Think folks would be open to a back story chapter of my character in that universe as stalling material? Maybe make it a bit easier on myself by doing art of my own character to accompany instead?
I think I've got a few folks from the Katbox Forums watching me, and honestly I would like to think my regular (and most excellent) watchers are interested in this project too so let me know what you guys think.

I feel I should say something about the art comment: I like all of my stuff, on some level, but I try to be realistic about where I am artwise. I have a goal that I want to reach and know where I am in relation to it and currently I'm making progress towards it, but am not there yet. I've really improved in my inking I feel at this point. The inks for that picture of Joy were something that I was very proud of. The color work I wasn't as proud of but it still came out good.
It's covered in the first chapter that, even though it's only been about 10 years, he's kinda forgotten a lot about that time. That's why he's out trying to rekindle the thoughts and feelings. I was planning to have him remember his encounters with the various Crests as Joy encountered them, while simultaneously adding in little tiny bits of the first year or so where he wasn't quite yet on the path that led to him becoming a Crest Knight. I was thinking about tossing more of his childhood days as well as it seemed well liked. I didn't even describe him, but Keaton squeed at the idea of child Mao and proclaimed him cute...or adorable. I can't remember.
I agree with Brady. Though given my (in)frequent update schedule.... I'm sure the pot would like to talk about the kettle's pigmentation.
Comics get a bit more scrutiny than fanfics and hobby artists. XD
