ok this isnt to shit stir im just going to vent read on if you want and dont if you dont. ok i since posting my first piece here i have always hoped that my work would spark lively interest in my work but when a more lively debate break out of something in a piece rather then the character then i have to wonder am i doing something seriously wrong. is something done for effect more interesting to look at then the character?
if people want to debate and argue something that is not really important and just some little to add to a piece then im going to have to reconsider my content.
oh and i thank the party that did apologies thank you

But at least they all did like the pic enough to stop to look at it long enough to notice the shadow, so even those comments were nice to get, I thought.
But I would recommend you don't apply logic to the fandom; it just doesn't work. Or to the "fans" either.
I'm a writer. Once I got past the 'OMG, no one wants to say anything except 'it's hot!'' I started feeling better about my work. Expectations should not be very high for this site. Or any other site, for that matter. (and at least artists get views)
I love looking at all the talent. That's why I watch you. But when I finally get to a submission, everything that I want to say has already been said by a small handful of the commentators. The rest are just the usual responses.
My advice: don't do it for the masses, do it for those few that truly appreciate all you put into your work.
Me, I watch because you do some gorgeous coloring on the characters. Absolutely beautiful shading on them!
