So i had a friend drive me to the airport today to head off to Atlanta for the con! After waiting in line about half an hour to get my boarding pass, I found out my flight had been cancelled! The only things they were offering was either a rescheduled flight, with their next available flight being on the 29th, or a refund and best wishes for getting to where I needed to go! I opted for option B. Sadly all the good flights were leaving within half an hour of when I got out of the line, and all the ones for later in the day were $1000+. If I'd checked my flight status before leaving for the airport, I could have potentially gotten on one of those earlier flights... : /

Instead I got a flight tomorrow morning, hella early, for about $600 more than what the original cost of the plane ticket was.

You'd think if they cancelled your flight they'd go out of their way to set you up so you are a return customer.. like, the ability to book with another airline at a reasonable time for the cost that was originally paid. If its that down to the wire anyways the seats were not gonna be filled anyways. Plane tickets are horrid with only a day or 2 advance notice, ugh.

Anyways, still hoping to salvage this trip, and praying nothing goes wrong tomorrow, wish me luck!
