I'm drawing tiny spaceships.
... :3!!
Let me explain: When I'm between projects (or stuck on a current one), I get a bug up my ass to work on this spaceship-based pen & paper RPG combat system I've been toying with for a while now.
And between plotting out stats, and rolls, and rules, and other boring shit, I draw little half-symmetrical spaceships to use in it (I mean, I draw a straight line, and draw half the ship, that way I can flip it and it be symmetrical).
My designs are, weird. Or, campy space-opera. I can't tell.
What kind of spaceships do YOU guys like?!
Gothic steel scrap-metal lumbering dark noir leviathans alla Alien (or anything out of the late 70's-80's), or the Minmatar from Eve?
Smooth, sleek, ultra-tech, shiny vessels that look like Steve Jobs designed 'em?
The ever-classic "Air Force/Navy in SPACE!!" designs? (why do space fighters have jet engines...?) Like BSG and countless others? (*cough*anime*hack*)
Or even, the lovely Flying Cigars of old 30's to 50's pulp and Dr. Who fame?

Not aesthetics for the sake of aesthetics, but... practical, rugged, ready.
Of course, the BSG ones kinda made sense... they did fly them inside a planets atmosphere in the series iirc...
