FA+

mainly because the mass is not excessive... my male characters are drawn
with almost zero percent body fat or fur that would otherwise hide the definition
they aren't muscle furs they just are super ripped
They kinda remind me of body builders. I like how you draw their heads though. =3
they aren't anywhere near heavy built as the panthera or lykos
but i doubt i'lll design them toward the bishie archetype
hopefully they will show my range on the male body type

Your details ARE very well done on both though. =o
i am artistically so deep down i prefer a stark contrast between shadow and light
But I like your males too
it's kinda like sexual dimorphism to an almost extreme case
Though, you're females are really HOT!
Your males tend to be too hard bodied especially for furries. I would think their fur would soften their look a bit and honestly I prefer a somewhat softer male that I can hug and snuggle than a more bricklike male. (I know a number of my fellow ladies feel that way.)
but i prefer the stylized low body fat percentage in the characters. the evolutionist notion of "survival of the fittest" in nature gets
incorporated into my characters. Because they are anthropomorphic characters, I make them what is accepted as "fit, lean and muscular" to
the human standard that athletically fit body fat % for women is about 15-20% and men 8-13%. I do take it a little extreme for
the men. but that comes from the influence comic books had on me growing up.
I tend to lean more towards the Swimmer's build. If you look at pro swimmers they are very nicely toned but not bulky. The version you have is what body builders look like as opposed to just STRONG men.
Essentially I prefer more like this: http://sportsebooks.com/content_ima.....odybuilder.jpg
Vs. This: http://www.mesomorphosis.com/blog/w.....hado-lopez.jpg
This guy for instance is one of the most handsome furs I have EVER seen: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2153208/ And as I am more of a lesbeon the fact that this guy gets me wet without a question is saying something. He is visibly strong enough have that wonderful warm strong male hug but soft enough to really cuddle and enjoy being close to. (His member is also hot as heck but yeah...)
The problem with survival of the fittest in this case though is that being THAT ripped is a hindrance not a good thing. Too little body fat and your joints are ill-lubed, your brain is less protected from sudden impact, and you become muscle bound where you cannot do some things you normally would (like hug something). Tone > Ripped in terms of that. Also those who can store energy and make fat, especially while also being toned, are far more efficient digesters and tend to out pace their less efficient counterparts during any hard times. So if you know someone who eats like a horse and is rail thin (I know that guy LOL) if they ever go without a solid source of food for a few weeks they are dead but someone with some storage will be able to survive a lot better and on a lot less.
Anyway now I am rattling on Bree but you asked. As I said though your females are beautifully done. I very much prefer a "Strong" female with good tone to a "Weak Fragile" female who seems like she can hardly care for herself.
but from seeing your user info latest submission
for the females: loving it beautiful, elegant, stylish, and as shown in "dancing in the wind" pic even though their colors are basically same in grey contrast they each drawn beautifully individuallt
for the males: shown in the panthera pic, muscly male....well i have to say it is way way sexy and the muscles really...attract me. And the build is perfect too
so i have to say....50-50 and because they both perfect it becomes 100-100
