Some days it’s difficult
to remain
on two legs
Earth calls
for my other half
and I come down
willingly
some nights
my skin
turns to fog
and I swallow
clouds of dark
which erupt
in a flood
of song
I can’t help
but to sing
my heart is a river
these days…
these nights…
I can’t remember
a time
when joy
was so rampant
