Redoing work is never fun.. but at least you already know what you want to do this time and how to do it, meaning it may go faster and smoother!

Actually that's partially true. Doing it last time I found that I can make transitions faster and more abstract, but wanted to keep things consistent... but now I can start from scratch, making them the way I want.

I had backups, on several computers, but they all got overwritten with the most recent data. I could potentially go back a ways and start partially in, but there's been a lot of work since the last usable file, so I'd rather just use the core file that is corrupted and redo everything. It's hard to explain, but it'll be fine.

That sucks something major, but at least you managed to salvage some bits of it. Just need to, well, rebuild the engine to make it all work. I'm sure you can do it just fine!
