hmmm, I have been intrested in ITT for about a year or two now, but the only thing stopping me for pursuing it is the money..... because they one that is closest to me me is near PDX Airport and they would be help me get a jump start on my dream of getting in to NASA, but the money and cost of it all really makes wonder if it is worth it....

I like the thought of small classes, because I need that with my ADHD or else I will fall behind....

But I wanna know what your thoughts are one the price of it all

you know, i thought the exact same thing. like, it sounds great when you check it out, until they hit you with the 50k lol. in my opinion, its worth it. depends on how you learn as well. if you enjoy more hands on then lectures, id say its worth it. its very hands and so i tend to absorb alot. they really help you out alot, theres alot of resources likejob placement for life at any itt, tutoring, really simple to read in depth books, extra workshops for certifications, involved teachers, etc. plus you dont have to pay until 6 months after you graduate, and its in payments. oh and you can continue to pursue your BA and still not have to pay until 6 months after. id say set up an appointment to talk to them if you havent already have, they'll answer alot more questions than i could or the website could. but yea, check it out, i love itt even tho its an arm and a leg to attend lol. however it isnt for everyone.

i forgot to mention it is fast paced. they get you in and out quick depending on the program. mine is two years for associates, i dunno if its shorter or longer for other programs, thats a good thing to ask

well the one I am intrested in would cost me 26K a year but that doesnt include the scholarships they help you out with and all that... I have talked to someone about it and have gotten everything done to get startewd there just have to get the whole fincinal thing setteled out.... because when I was looking in to it my mom told me that swhe wanted nothing to do with me and involving money... so it was really hard.... I turn 20 this year so I think I can do it all by my self.... thoug the commute out there every day will be tiresome cause it is 2 hours one way.....
I know about the whole payments and things but the whole money issues IS the issue =( it just such a large number, but I know if I really wanna pursue the thing I want to do it will take a lt of money and I better act on it before it it too late too... but I have no job or anything right now and cat afored the money it will cost just to get to the school either =(

The guy I talked to is really nice too we still keep in contact even though I am still not sure on the school.... with the scholarship he has set up it would only cost me like 16K a year or somthing I think ISK.... it might even be in the same program you are doing I will have to double check

ummm, the only other one college I have considered is Portland Community College if I dont go with ITT, because my next step down from NASA is getting in to Nursing, because that is where all my experience is..... and I dont know about the cost of it, and really have no idea what other career colleges there are out there that would help me get to my NASA dream...... but if you know any I would love to hear more about them

^^ I`m really glad you`re going to school. it sounds like such an awesome program, and it`s nice seeing you so motivated and interested. lol, plus it`s nice to hear about all the cool stuff you learn. my art and music and all that has been pretty sparse lately as well, due to school and such. it`s all good though. I kinda try to get more out of my art sessions and have been thinking about improving my technique and how to improve in general. anywho, don`t worry about stuff being slow. you`re still making progress. ^^
