Oh, and here I was thinking that you were talking about the rumors of a NEW, revamped SK series starting.

Anyway, it's run on Boomerang started in February, but I don't really care WHEN it started! It's back and THAT, to me, is ALL that matters! At least Boomerang DID have the good sense to start airing it, unlike Cartoon Network, which ran some of the eps in early 2006, then dropped them again. (Honestly, THAT network and it's treatment of my fave toons..............!)

And they HAVE finally released the eps on DVD?! Gimme, gimme, gimme! I have waited for this news for literally YEARS!!! Glad to see that the long wait paid off, and I WILL be checking that site out!

And the price for the three season set is approx. $24.95, huh. That's a VERY reasonable price, and doable (at least for me). MUST let the folks at some of the SK forums know about this, IF you don't mind me copy/pasting this in those places.

And it INCLUDES the two unaired eps from Season 3?! I didn't think that those eps had even beemn MADE, let alone there even BEING a Season 3! Hmmmm.............

Hey, I'm NOT upset. MAINLY because although I know that there was SUPPOSED to BE a Season 3, it was dropped before it could be done. The eps you're refering to were planned, but never made.

Besides, it's not YOUR fault that the site says that about the eps being on the DVD. They should amend the description to the truth, but I'm thinking that that's just a marketing tool to get people (read: SK fans, especially) to buy it.

Not that they have to resort to that. I'm getting it irregardless when I get the money to. I just hope that the DVDs have a few "special features" on them...like the "The Secret Files of the SWAT Kats" bits.

And no one around here is going to yell at you OR throw things at you. It is NOT your fault for saying that the cancelled third season eps were on these. If there's ANY blame to be held at ANYONE, like I said, it should beaimed at the website selling these.

Actually, I know they never finished production of any of the third season episodes.

Yeah, which was a pity. I wonder WHY they never did. SWAT Kats was a WAY past cool series, and SHOULD'VE lasted longer than 2 seasons! IMHO.

Now that I think about it, it PROBABLY had something to do with the fact that when SK was was on, it and the Biker Mice From Mars were THE two highest rated toon series on the tube, but then a cruddy, stupid little show called "the Power Rangers" (I still call 'em the "Power CRUDDERS!) debuted...and the ratings for the SK, the BMFM and every OTHER toon in existance on TV went swiftly into the toilet. All anybody (the kids)wanted was the Poer Crudders, to the unfortunate detriment of all other toons. Which is exactly WHY I hate those idiots to this very day!

That, AND Saban keeps coming up with even LAMER incarnations of the thing, rather than let it die the death it so RICHLY deserves!

Er, just an observation, but I don't think that the site is UP anymore. At least, I can't find it anymore!

One more thing... Last weekend, I watched 4kids tv on 19. And Biker Mice from Mars was on.

Yeah, I know. It's a whole NEW series (revamped for the 21st Century) that, up until now, has been airing overseas in the UK and a few other places. We in the U.S. are FINALLY getting it, and I'M personally LOVING it! Caught Parts 1 and 2 of a 4-ep preview run last weekend, and the weekend before that, and the series' OFFICIAL launch is on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 7:30 AM! (Er, THAT time is CENTRAL Daylight Time, MY home time-period. It will PROBABLY be airing at 8;30 AM EDT for those who are IN that time-period.) I can-NOT wait!

Heck, it's been like 12 or s years since the ORIGINAL series went off, and the NEW one (the one on 4KidsTV) has been around for like two YEARS, but overseas, like I said. I hope THIS incarnation of The Bros lasts at LEAST as long as the ORIGINAL one did; maybe even longer!

And now that they've brought THEM back, and had brought the TMNT back in 2003, NOW all they need to do is come up with a new SWAT Kats series! THAT would be killer! IMHO.
