Your views on western consumerism are just, but civilization relies on the many raising the few. Do you actually think it's possible for all humanity to get together and work together for a common goal? If so, I applaud your optimism. Personally, I think humanity is a self destructive creature, and that self destructiveness is necessary as an evolutionary tool to drive our species to become more then what it is.
