Long story short: I'm a tad jealous of a friend's recent success in a relationship because it highlights my own loneliness and lack of ability to wrap my arms around my own boyfriend. I'm currently working it out through moderate amounts of alcohol and salt-water.

Okay, so maybe not the salt-water... Or the booze (I've had my night of drinking already). However, I will likely try to avoid watching them cuddle/snuggle/hug/kiss/etc as much as I can for the next fourteen months or so (I think that's how long until I can see him again, anyways).

'Sides, jealousy will give way to better emotions eventually. I'm actually happy for my friend (despite how hard I had a crush on him a while ago). *hrms* Ah, well... What gay self-respecting boy hasn't crushed hard on a straight guy at least once?
