This outraged me on the verge of tears. Stupid to get emotional, I guess... but this is just TOO far. I'm mostly outraged by how obvious which side is the Bad Guy here and no one is making the "RIGHT" call on this. The First Amendment was made to balance and nullify persecution, not protect it.
I will be thinking of a way to make my own First Amendment rights known to these monsters of religion.

Perhaps those sanctimonious pricks are trying to convince themselves of being 'holy' by bringing others' "sins" to light.
Really, at the very least, someone (in the judicial system) should look past all the general political drama and catch on to that small fact. No cause is just enough for interrupting a mourning family...
