It was a toss up between green and purple, but I ended up picking green, because it went with a joke about some animals not eating the "green one" because it isn't ripe.

Actually, one of the first ideas for a furry character, when I first was making one, was a kangaroo... Then I thought... What if I thought up some color that kangaroos usually aren't and go with that? So to make sure it hadn't been done, I searched "Green Kangaroo."

You can imagine the chortles I had when I discovered you already existed!

So now I'm a Red Rodent in stead. (long story short) :P
