So DA made me watch legend of the seeker. It's been good for productivity. Look at all that shit I got done yesterday. I finished the first season last night and I can safely say. I have never been so enraged at a book adaptation in my life.
I admit my temper has been cooled after the seventh episode. But god. Seriously Terry Goodkind, you signed off on this? I understand you like dollars, and all that rape you write isn't good for TV, but Time Travel, really? I was all looking forward to some hot southern belle dragon riding action, but you once again shit all over me.
And Cara isn't even blond. How can I fantasies about your "live action actors" if they're not even hot? Seriously. I know you have a budget, but I'm sure you could have afforded better looking actors.
The acting how ever, from most of the regular cast is a solid B+. I believe most of your emotions, and it's only super tacky when it needs to be.
I'm on to Season 2 today while I work. Wish me luck. Although they've already ruined the second book for me so my expectations are so low a worm could jump the bar. You fuckers better not screw up Gratch, not that he has a place any more =/

I only watched the first episode. THE FIRST episode pissed me off so much I refused to watch any more of it.
I must just hate myself. I need to see this through to the end. See how awful they can butcher it.
OTOH, it's been years since I read the books and don't remember a lot about them. So from that stand point, do you think these would be good stand alone episodes, disregarding that it's supposed to be a book adaptation?
