I actually enjoyed it ^^

So I'm just laying there on the bed, legs up to my head, with a horribly worried look on my face. Kitten the oh so charismatic one she is, just says "Don't worry, baby, it won't hurt THAT bad."
I laugh and right after that, she...
hey wait...what? Oh right! back to the topic! XD
So me and my fiance went to see the movie "How to Train Your Dragon" and I gotta tell ya, it was really good! First time I saw the poster for it at a theatre in Ashtabula, I was thinking "My god, really? They're going after dragons now? DAMN YOU SHREK FUCKERS!" lol!
Before continuing, I'd like to say that i really enjoyed Shrek, a little bit I enjoyed 2, but not so much 3(that one was a bit...umm...well, stupid! except the part with the princess and the animals, that was freakin' hilarious!)
So I come from the land with the ice and snow, where the midnight sun and the...oh right! back to the Dragons movie! XD
ANYWHO! I then see some art for the characters BEFORE the movie is even out! dunno why, but that lowers my expectations more when everyone elses is skyhigh. I mean, the same thing happened to Legion, and I gotta tell ya, nowhere near the hype's belief.
Then I saw some commercials, the blonde guy seemed like he'd be a comical relief character (the one with the scot accent along with the main character's dad).
I keep seeing the art, blah blah blah. And Kitten, the lovely thing she is, tells me we should go see it. And I say "Meh, what the hell."
We spend the very last of my money to see this (along with some chinese buffet afterwards, lol!) and I sit down...
Oh. My. God! this movie actually was fantastic! I haven't felt this good about a movie since freaking ever! I mean, not the whole the movie's wonderful thing, that's for sure, but the whole expecting it to be bad only to be surprised at it's wonderfulness ^w^
oh, by the way, spoiler alert here:
THE VOICE OF HICCUP'S DAD IS FUCKING LEONIDAS! I'd say the actor's name, but it sounded too much like him! lmao! kinda odd for a viking.
So, for the film and acting itself, I give it a 5/5
plus 1 for Dragons
plus 1 for Vikings
plus 1 for Vikings combating Dragons
plus 1 for Vikings riding Dragons
plus 1 for Toothless' cuteness at parts, lol!
plus 1 for fucking leonidas!
plus 1 for him as a FUCKING VIKING!
so now we're at 12 out of 5...I know! XD
I know I sound like I'm ranting, and I am, but still this was NOT a bad movie! in fact, this was a GREAT movie! you, your family, your loved ones, your dog, you all should fucking go see this movie. It's funny, it's good for all ages (accept the use of the word "Hell" once in it if you are protective of child ear innocence).
Oh, and if anyone can tell me the name of the actor who played Hiccup, Kitten would appreciate it a lot, lol ^^
well, that's my raving review of How to Train Your Dragon
Great job Dreamworkds, you didn't fail at this one! ^w^ just don't make any sequels, lol! XD
