Testing Something Out
Reached a determination the other day, I HAVE to get stuff sold right now (until that tax return commeth), but nothing gets sold unless I'm getting crap done, and this vent fan/overheating situation rather limits that. So given that the warranty on this thing is already gone I think, I decided to do this rather elaborate setup to prevent the computer from overheating while I draw stuff. Basically did some 'surgery' on the broken fan so it can do just enough to keep going and have the whole thing practically sitting on top of a desk fan. It's uncomfortable to work with but it seems so far to be doing the job. Testing it out today with a personal pic I won't panic if I lose work on in the event of an overclock and shut down, if it works I'll be getting back to commissions tomorrow, though it'll be at a slow rate.

yeah I know it's not an issue of 'affording it', it's more it arriving (had to order the part) and then meeting up with my sister's fiancee (who knows computers and can put it in without destroying the computer like I likely would)
