I used to, until bowstring-related incidents inflamed my cowardice. However, assuming you're not an organwaste who submits to fear at the drop of a hat (which I gather you're not), then it is an exceptionally fulfilling pastime. There's something very satisfying about scoring a bullseye with the ever-elegant longbow.

I'm afraid I can't help you out when it comes to pricing, but I'm sure others can, and if you find yourself in a position to take up the sport then I heartily recommend it.

Well, that is a bit far. But do keep looking, because it is magnificent fun. If you've ever aced a tricky sniper shot in a video game, then try to imagine doing it with an actual weapon in the real world (although ideally you'll be aiming at a wickerwork circle rather then an actual person).

Heheh yeah, I remember the last time I shot one, I got a bullseye first time round when I was told how to aim and I think it was just luck but it was satisfying :P

I've tried shooting a bow an arrow a couple of times. It was fun, but I need to get my own bow and arrow if I'm to get any good.

Yeah I've thought about buying one someday, trying out in my back garden or something.

archery gets boring quickly. you go to a few meetings, learn how to shoot, practice get better at it, then your just shooting at the same targets over and over again. Just get a bow for around $300- $400 practice with it and then go hunting with it

Yeah, ah well its better than nothing where I live lol, there is literally nothing, there's a cinema, a town park and that's it lol.

im not saying dont do it but in a club or school setting its boring. its just shooting at targets over and over. just get your own bow and shoot at what ever you want. just not at anyone stay safe ^^

just do jogging its fun and safe. unless you get hit by a car

Nah usually its farmers, hunting foxes on their farms or rabbits because it damages the already fragile economics of farming here

Well an anything else is either not the right weapon for the job to be done efficiently or is too powerful and out of bounds for civilian use.
