Does Anyone here own a pilot's license?

Or certificate since I think technically that is what you are given.
I have been wanting to learn, but the price is quite expensive. I figured I could still talk to someone about it if they have one. Looking online gives me some information, but a lot of sites seem to contradict each other.
Anyways, if anyone has one, let me know, I would like to chat about it.

AFAIK, you can learn from someone certified, but to actually be certified you still have to both pass a test and have a certain number of flight hours to be certified.

mmhmm, I've read you need at least 40 hours of flight time, and you have to pass a written and a flying test. I was looking for more detailed information, and tips. Like, ways to save money without sacrificing quality, free manuals, how the whole process works, and other stuff. Thanks for the help though.
