I've always wanted to make one of those videos where it shows the making of a song with all the different parts on screen at once. Well, last night I FINALLY GOT AROUND TO IT!

Sound Card - ~$100
Acid Pro 7 - ~$400
Secondary mixer - $60 used
Somewhere around $4600 total, not counting the computer, headphones, mic stand, cables, etc. It's possible to do pretty much the same with less expensive stuff, I've just been gradually collecting these things because they make it a lot easier.
It's vids like this that make me wish I were back in Colorado
I'm two and a half semesters away from a computer science degree myself and I'll have my CCNA by then as well do you have that certification?
