Put More Stories on the Front Page [Read This Please]

"It's hard for writers to get watchers. The audience is small enough to begin with, and the medium itself means that a person must sit down and commit to a piece in the time a person could have browsed dozens of new images.
FA writers work hard on their craft, and the products are as vivid and engaging as anything else put out on this site. But FA doesn't seem to want to support writers. After years of asking, even common documents don't show up in browser. It's difficult to browse an author's work in their gallery. And perhaps worst of all, writers are given half the space on the front page that artists get. The amount of clicks necessary to get even one person to read a story the whole way through, let alone comment or fav, it's no wonder that few people feel intrigued by composing or posting written work on FA.
I've suggested over at the FA Forums, among other things, that the front page be expanded to include eight stories at one time. It's really a rather simple request. Shouldn't be too hard to program. Won't interfere with anything. And it will give authors twice the exposure to potential readers before falling off the front page. Most importantly, it may begin to send a message to FA's writing community that they are not always second behind the concerns of FA's artists.
If you support this, please pop over to the thread and voice it. Then repost this journal and demand that FA do more to increase the exposure of its writing community!"
I want to take this opportunity to link to some of the writers I'm currently watching on FA that you should check out if you're so inclined~.

FA+

that was easy
However; I take what I can get. =)
Hehe, kidding. In all seriousness, my problem is probably one of not being prolific. I focus for quality over quantity, which is the right thing to do when making a good story but complete suicide for trying to get attention on FA. If I toil for three months on a 23,000-word epic, post it, that one drop in the bucket falls off the front page immediately, and that's all you hear of me until I toil for another three months on the next one, then I'm going to be completely invisible compared to someone who decides to post "My yiffy murr RP log ^_^" chapters 1 through 28 consecutively.
But still, I hope that people don't now just find ways to knock music and writing off the front page twice as fast ;)
