I may be losing my WACOM tablet here at work. For those that remember, I am only borrowing this tablet from the art department, and I agreed to return it if/when they hire more artists. Well the lead programmer just came by and said that they're hiring more artists, and that I may have to give it to one of the new hires.
SO, some time in the near future, I might very well have to give up this tablet.
*SSSIIIIGGGGHHHHH...*
I didn't realize just how attached I had become to this tool! Guess I'd better start saving my pennies and nickles to get one for myself. :(

Furthermore, line weight (i.e. line thickness) comes so much more naturally to me when I'm using a pen instead of a mouse.
I'll give ya that. But hey, if you ink with a real pen it'll give you more practice. :3
Hehe actually, it's too late--they already know I have it, because the art lead keeps an inventory of who has what.
Oh well. :) Motivation to get one of your very own, eh? :)
A good way to deal with this until your able to save up for one of your own (that wouldnt get taken away) is to ink over your pictures with a specialized pen designed for inking, then scan it. and then go from there. Its not much help, but It would do for now if you think about it
Well, inking by hand will give you more practice, pain in the arse it is
