I just told my Mom over dinner a couple of weeks ago about the furry culture and how/why I'm a part of it. I'm so glad she understood! I keep a lot of things to myself but I like being up front with people. A few days ago I showed her around my sketchbook, and it felt good to share things I previously hid, when there was nothing to hide at all.

I think finding you all here and putting my art out there added to it. It feels better now, not having to worry.
