Do you think you have a virus or spyware? Try scanning it if you have doubts.
Also, check to see how much memory you have left on it. Mine was performing really slow a few weeks ago and I went through and uninstalled a lot of junk off of it that I never used and it seems to be doing fine right now.
if the BSOD is persistant,
you could always hit CTRL ALT Del go to task manager and then hit run
then type in rstrui.exe (system restore)
from there you can select to restore your computer to an earlier date without losing any files (other than recently installed programs)
Ouch that sucks...bleh! But I agree with Bulllizzard on that one as well its one of the best courses of action to take to ensure file protection besides transfering all files to a different or new comp.
