Y'kno, if I read this and were a dude (& possibly of the homosexual variety rather than the bi female variety that I be), I'd be all "\o/ VICTORY!!!" and then feel more inclined to vote for more guys in the future. XD

I think there is a little disconnect here. I want to ask you, why would I vote for someone if I know they are a complete asshole? I'll agree and say that if I don't know someone I'll go based on quality of the suit. However I think Fursuiting is more about the personality and suit combination that makes a great fursuit and fursuiter. Wouldn't you remember a suit better if that person was nice to you and others?

Case in point: Sadie! Sadie was the first suit I made contact with at AC09, my first con (though I've been in the fandom for 10 years). She walked by me and I said I really like your suit, you're very pretty. She said thank you and told me she had just gotten it not 5 minutes earlier. She then proceeded to PEWPEW me. During the fursuit parade she came around the corner and selected me from the crowd for more pewpew-ing and I've loved her ever since :P

Now Sadie really made my weekend special and I'll never forget her for it and that why, even though Skippy is a very very close friend of mine (who is also very friendly and loveable in suit though it may not be the best) I voted for her. So I am sorry she got pewpew-ed in the end but I just want her to know why I like her so much :)
