I don't think they are. there are still a 10K + people that like playing it, times that by at least 13.00 a piece, not counting each additional character. you've got a crap ton of money per month, I doubt they'll stop supporting it. I heard that FFXI was getting an HD Upgrade soon too. dunno when though.

Looks like only the nocturnal ones get "war paint"...and it's not natural markings. x_x

you have to remember, those are only 2 pictures for each version of them. There are far more customizations than just those two. And in FFXI it's warpaint as well. some have it some don't. hence the odd colors, why do you think it matched their lip color.

They won't be getting rid of ffxi (i should know i'm on it right now lol) But they are raising the lvl cap to 99, as well as adding more weapons skills n such.

As for FF14...honestly it's going to dissappoint alot of people. You change your weapon, it changes your job. The combining of some jobs together like Thief and Monk, Dark Knight's getting an overhaul and yea..just not appealing to me lol

change your weapon changes your job is bad how? i wont have to go back to my mog house to change jobs... unless its to grab a weapon i have in storage...
and changing some classes around isn't a bad thing... i dont want a carbon copy of XI

That's just it, I'd rather have to go and change my job in the moghouse, so that I could make sure I have everything I'll need. As for the changing of classes, it's not changing them..not all of them what bothers me is the Merging of 2 totally different classes x.x

so long as it is NOTHING like FFXIII.... i'll be willing to try it. Played FFXI for near on three years, but with the last three FF's released (X-2, XII, XIII) SquareEnix has truly Lost my support... just hoping they don't ruin Kingdom Hearts next. =_=

i wouldn't assume its like FFXIII since well.. XIII was a single player console game.... from what ive seen its XI with a ton of updated features

Ahhh, "updated features"... and yet this term always frightens me... WoW added 'upadted features' like cross-realm battlegrounds and dungeons... both of those caused my loss of interest in the game. (Still love the setting and lore... just not the game)

well you arent expecting an exact copy of FFXI with better graphics right? instances, solo friendly content, revamping the job system
keep it thematically the same but change it up... thats what they've always done with the FF series

eh, they strayed from that with 12 and 13... two games that can essentially play themselves... but yes, i am interested in 14... just not enough to overcome the massive layer of skepticism SE's developed with me.

i wouldn't worry about kingdom heatrs, since they are about to release BBS for the PSP, along with Recconnect that should tie up stuff for the Thrid Game. Nomura states that you have to play the games in order from how the tikes are in order to get a feel of what the story is truely about, not just play them out of order

Yes, plz. I've been playing FFXI for a bit.. and FFXIII c.c I'm looking forwards to it, if they don't screw it up like FFXI was c.c (Storyline awesome, gameplay .. not so much >.>)
