Re-living my childhood - Dinosaurs

So, seeing as I have a free Netflix sub, I rented the series Dinosaurs...
I wasn't expecting the series to still be relevant, but it is. The subjects they go over, in a subtle and not so subtle way, are still very real even 19 years later.
Now that I'm old enough to actually understand the messages, I feel the series means even more to me now. While, before, it was just a funny show with dinosaurs, now its a funny dinosaur show with a message.
I only wish Disney hadn't pulled the plug on it...but it at least ended before it got stale.
I wish shows were still as well written and had so much effort put into them still. Sitcoms today are about dumb humor and not offending anybody....and kid shows don't teach any kind of message anymore...
I miss when TV didn't suck.
Also: because I'm such a furfaggot, I have a crush on Robbie...which is so wrong....damn you rule 34!

I was too young to remember the first and second seasons well, and I haven't rented the third and fourth yet.
But, really, the quality and work that went into a series like Dinosaurs just isn't seen anymore...Nobody would ever think to use complicated animatronic puppets and costumes...they would just do it with lazy CG stuff...
But to build those costumes and for the actors/puppeteers to bring them to life like that...that is real quality work!
They do still use animatronics for things actors have to directly interact with...or things that have to be close up. Distance stuff can be done with a computer...for like, running animals/aliens/monsters...and stuff.
