If you have any suggestions of things that I can do to make my backgrounds better feel free to post.

I'm getting tired of my lame backgrounds. You know, the ones that are just gradients or the ones that are just a blue sky with bland grass. So I'm going to do a little bit of practice.

try using filters. PS has some really neat filters that help doing effects and making cool, abstract backgrounds.

hehe, what I do, is take a solid color background, take a random sized brush, choose a color(s) that would work well with the solid color, then use the blur, distort, etc filters.
