I saw 
Rhazafax start this and I wanted to do it too ; u; I always feel so lame about this kind of stuff, but I can't help myself xD; It's not as bad as it used to be when I was in like..idk, middle school when me and my friends used to fight over who belonged to who..but fff, I still love these guys to pieces. Enough to make fan characters for even when I was younger haha.
( I didn't start this, but I'm sure as heck gonna pass it on!)
( I think I'm just gonna name some significant ones because I had tons growing up xD; I had a monster list. )
1: Future Trunks from Dragonball Z, out of all the guys I had a crush on in that show, I had more of a thing for Trunks. To the point where I had pictures of him on my wall and always carried pictures of him in my binder..that and guys even picked on me for it xD; The first time I had a REAL crush on a guy, I got crap for it, kind of like "Oh so NOW you like a real guy?? Well you know what, he doesn't like you, he thinks you're weird. Why don't you go back to Trunks!! At least he likes you. ACTUALLY NO, IF HE WERE REAL HE WOULDN'T LIKE YOU EITHER." Kids were so cruel in middle school, now you know where the source of my low self esteem comes from. But FFF, I loved Trunks to pieces, I was obsessed with him for about 3 years until I moved on haha. HERE HE IS IN ALL HIS GLORYYY. I still get all teary and starry eyed when I see him..

2: Yami Yugi from Yugioh! This was my next big significant anime crush from what I can remember, I remember it starting in the 7th grade or so because that was when I drew Yugioh fanart all the time when everyone else was still tracing DBZ pictures. I: I also joined a yugioh guild on neopets at the time and would have constant fights with other members over who owned who and who's silly mary sue character got to be with Yami. xD; I loved Yami to bits, idk why..but I did.
Everyone knows who he is..but here's a favorite pic of him I carried around everywhere and called my "inspirational" picture for SUCCESSSSSS. I would stare at it all starry eyed before I took tests, I was such a creeper.

Malik or..Marik Ishtar from Yugioh, everyone at school was like NO IT'S MARIK IT'S HOW THEY SAY IT IN THE SHOW and I was like NO THEY SAY IT LIKE MALIK IN THE JAPANESE VERSION (Actually they said it like Mariku). I was such a damn weeaboo back then but I'm still used to saying it like Malik from rping him ages ago. xD; But yes, I fell in love with the creeper, along with Yami Bakura and shipped them to death. |8 ...I still do. I loved the shit out of Yami Malik too.

4: Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho! God I just...so many things changed when I was introduced to Yu Yu Hakusho, and my fascination with Kurama played a big part in it. Lets just say if it weren't for Kurama, Roxei wouldn't exist right now. She was my fan character for that show ages ago haha. But gosh, I loved Kurama to pieces, his hair (of course), his personality, the fact that he used plants to fight with and he could transform into a fox, I thought that was so cool when I was younger. While everyone was creaming themselves over Hiei, I was too busy fapping to Kurama.

5: Vash the Stampede from Trigun! Hell YES. I fell head over heals for Vash when I first saw Trigun, I have such a huge thing for lovable goofball characters, the one's who are supposed to be all badass but they're tenderhearted, silly and CARE FOR THE GOOD OF OTHERS!! But will kick ass if they have to. I love it. Vash was no exception...he was such a doofus.

6: Sesshoumaru from Inuyasha. Oh yes, I used to be a huge fag for that show. I loved my darling Sesshy. Yes, I called him Sesshy. He also served as an inspiration for character making back when I was just starting in middle school.. lol. I also loved his dog form, he was like some..awesome demon Saluki or something, I loved it <3

7: Shadow the Hedgehog from well..Sonic the Hedgehog. Alright..I think at this point was when I officially first started drawing furries. Along with Shadow, I liked Tails too, but loved Shadow more. Why? Because he was BADASS and still is. I remember having an outfit I used to love wearing because it was black, red and white and I wore it all the time and referred to it as like..idk, my Shadow jersey dress or something haha. I DUNNO BUT I LOVED HIM. ; u; I made Sonic OCs like him and everything, I was pitiful. I still am..I got a really huge wall scroll of him back at megacon xD; and I have a keychain of him I carry with me everywhere.

8: Zelos Wilder from Tales of Symphonia! Yet another significant crush I remember because me and well.. an old friend of mine would rp characters from this game and I remember always going after him xD; I also loved him more while she preferred Kratos. What can I say..I love a guy with long red hair.

10: Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist, I remember him being my very last significant anime crush because after that I kind of became detatched from anime because I got into making my own characters and started rping on a regular basis, but I still liked anime..I just wasn't that obsessed anymore xD. But I loved Ed, he was just way too cute, I love the cute hot tempered types.

I remember my very first crush was on Goku when I first watched DBZ, along with Yamacha and then later on, Goten. Now that I'm rewatching DBZ at the moment I'm still getting all giddy over those guys, especially Goten. I feel like such a pedo xD; He's just too cute and adorable and I keep saying that in my head when I see him. IT'S SO OVERWHELMING I want to do fanart..I'll probably doodle him in my sketchbook..

As for some other non-anime crushes, I remember liking and still liking Kovu from TLK2 a lot. I never made any TLK fan characters, but I know when I make male lion characters their cub versions are very reminiscent of Kovu. 0: Hm..oh and Tarzan, Tarzan is such a mancake. FFF.

Haha I never thought to dress up like him when I was younger, but I do remember trying to act out his attacks. Mostly Buster Cannon..I would jump off the top of the stairs at home and yell it at the top of my lungs. XD; Of course I did that when no one was home..

If you were crushing on Ed previously, DON'T WATCH BROTHERHOOD. Gah damn, I'm not one to crush on cartoons (especially since in the original anime, he stayed pretty young) but they aged him across the course of Brotherhood and SUDDENLY, he's sitting in bed with his shirt off across from Winry and the sexual tension in that scene is played WAY up. And I notice all of a sudden that he looks like 18 or 19 (instead of whatever age he's supposed to be) and RIPPED. The female writer for the series starts showing her colors thar, hurhur.
I can see why some girls crush on Edward/Jacob in Twilight though. Only because they get a lot of fanservice shots. But they're too...I dunno...clean and devoid of personality to be even remotely interesting for me. Even if I was their age, I'd probably be disinterested. Any crushes I had (and still have) have far more to do with personality than looks. Funny + cute equals crush.
I heard Brotherhood was pretty good actually. :c I haven't seen it yet, but I was planning to at some point this summer. They didn't make him too old did they? I'm gonna have to see this for myself.
Lol same here actually, now that I'm rewatching all of these old series I'm starting to appreciate characters I didn't like before when I was younger xD; When I was younger I hated them because they were MEANNN and weren't hot or anything. Now I appreciate their personalities and character development enough for me to take a significant liking to them.
