Like.. a series of ten or so pics of a peice as you go from sketches to line to inked to colored? That'd be .. a wonderful thing. I'm sure we can all learn a great deal from you.

I can understand that sentiment, I'm a bitthe same way, HOWEVER, seeing a WOrk in progress is NOT seeing an unfinished work if you post allthe images at the same time. :) It becomes "seeing how deathpuppy does his forkin' awesome art so that we might be able to learn the same!" Remember when I bought pony expressed from you? and I asked about what materials you used and how you did it N etc? That's why I asked, so that I could learn to maybe become as good an artist as you are (yeah yeah, I know, fat chance, but one can dream! ;)

Actually--doing a progression might help me too--to really help me pay attention to the process. Maybe I could learn from it as well.

Oh gosh! It's *YOUR* art! I just have the original is all. :) Please feel free to show it, it's a wonderful work and you should share it with the world! It's a horrible waste to have art dissapear into someone's coffers never to be seen again! And my friend, we can *ALL* learn from such a progression. I would be , personally, very appreciative of such a progression in that it could teach me volumes about how you see colors and shapes and spaces and..just. TONS of such things like that.

I think that is a fine idea! Please save 10 or 12 wips as you work on my commission (I love the sketched pose, concept, and OMG!! my physique!!!), and post them all at once with the final on the Friday evening when I post the final in my gallery. If you are willing to do this, I'll put in a promo below the completed piece in my gallery with links to every wip and the final in your gallery, and the suggestion that viewers Fave it there, since you, the artist, deserve it.

1,000 watchers is exceedingly good. But its not "only" 1,000 watchers - it is 1,000 watchers in 2 weeks!!! Utterly unparalled!!!!

fame may be why the account is so large i have only 163 watchers after an eight month period. you have been around for at least since 1996 where i never even knew this Furry thing even had started then. i was still playing my (i thought i was original) furry oriented RPG i wrote, compiled, edited and created from 1975 until 2006. Off and on, but still it has been play tested longer than a lot of you have even been alive! oh and *unf oof, bends down shifting hooves in the dirt to accomodate a shorter famous person, hugs back* there .

I think my popularity had dropped over the years after my initial introduction in FN Magazine. People forgot about me and I wasn't keeping up my website or getting out into fandom... I think alot of people who are finding me here are new viewers, but alot are people who thought I'd disappeared or something. LOL

Also, I've got to hand it to this forum--I hadn't realized how big and important it was.

True, one good thing about art--instant gratification! Reading requires time and effort--as does writing. I'm envious of people who can write well. I can write decent sentences...even the odd paragraph--but crafting a decent story? Yipes.

Thanks--yeah, I've been in fandom since '99...and I got off to a bang by contributing stories and covers to the first four FN Magazines, but the I dwindled. FA gives me a great opportunity to bounce back!

Yeah, it's been the same thing for me! somewhere to show the images that I capture, and if I ever get off my tail and start doing it agian, some writing. I used to carry a camera with me at all times. I'm getting so I do again. ;)
I think I remember when you started getting into furry, I've been in it for almost 17 years. *laughs* there is no excuse for being a furry THAT long.

Quality over quantity will generate popularity.

Excellent to get so many +Watches in such a short time but personally I don't find it that amazing when you compare the standard of your work against the majority of other 'artists' here on FA.

We mustn't forget how many years experience you have either, that all helps make the artwork look right, as does pushing yourself as hard as you seem to. A good artist is at once his own worst critique and best motivation.

Congratulations on reaching this milestone of Watchers.

Quality over quantity is my usual hallmark, if for no other reason than that I'm too slow and lazy to crank out loads of pics... Also, I tend to be a perfectionist. I'm a living example of the maxim "A painting is never finished, only abandoned." Hmm no spell check on this thing--no idea if I spelled that right.

Anyway, my tastes also tend to run toward representational and even photorealistic art. And you CAN'T do that fast.

Mind you--I DO appreciate different forms of furry art--such as manga-style and such, but I'm not as good at DOING them.

One more cliche: I play to my strengths. ^0^

Only a thousand? Going to have to get cracking and advertise some more fore ya, you deserve at least 5 times over that if not 10 or 20 ;)
