yep... herniated disc

MRI results are back... it's a herniated disc. Last one, between the L5 and S1 vertebrae.\
Not that this is a particular surprise; an MRI back in 2006 confirmed exactly the same thing. So, I get to go meet up with a neurosurgeon on Friday to discuss my options. Gonna try to avoid surgery at least for now; maybe now that they actually KNOW what's wrong, they can treat it through things like physical therapy. Hopefully.

I know a lot of people do not believe in them, but i cannot tell you how many times I have herniated a disk before. That dull throbbing pain when you are holding still, then that sudden jolt that shoots through your body almost causing you to spasm.
Seriously look into going to a chiropractor they are absolute miracle workers with slipped discs, herniated discs, dislocated ribs and dislocated vertebrae.
300 dollars worth of visits to a chiropractor is much much cheater then a 3000 dollar MRI and surgery on top of that.
... although, maybe that will slip it back into place.....
