I'm writing again!

Greetings!
Lately there has been quite a dry spell in my writing, this mostly due to the particularly persistent writing block that followed in the wake of The Seven Days of Orcyon. That particular story took a lot out of me, and save for a few short bursts (The Orc's Game, Ferals in the City) it's been fairly quiet.
Thank you for bearing with me during the dry spells.
However, there's good news.
Life is all about choices, choices that often are very personal in nature. Last weekend I myself chose to engage in a journey of the mind, and this came in the form of sharing a small amount of psychedelic mushrooms with a friend, something I do once every so many months. Something which definitely isn't to everyone's liking, or even useful.
Quite unexpectedly, the closed-eye imagery awoke my muse, and snapped me clean out of my writer's block. Over the course of the next day there were moments of inspiration to write again, and the day after that I sat down behind the keyboard and started writing.
And I wrote quite a bit since then.
The story I'm writing, working title "Beasts of Burden", is one of Orcs again - but in length it will be the biggest story I ever wrote in the English language. In fact, it might even become twice as big as my longest story to date, The Seven Days of Orcyon.
I'm taking my time for it. I strive to deliver to you an interesting story, a wild ride and hopefully a better quality overall for your reading pleasure.
As things are looking now it will be big, about the size of a small paperback. I expect it to be somewhere between five and ten times the short-story size you know of me, and I'm about halfway there as it is today. It's exciting to be writing again.
Things going as they are, I expect the story to hit the web within two weeks from now. So know that though things have been fairly quiet lately, there's new stuff in the making, which I hope you'll enjoy.
big Orc hugs & snoutring tugs,
