Why not /concentrate/ your current efforts on building up HF, but keep this "open" as a portal into there; and keep tabs from time-to-time?
No problems whatsoever on cross-promotion, either. (Well, not in my book/IMHO, anyhow!).

We need more decent communities available for people to be feeling "safe"/comfortable in, IMHO. And certainly we're not "fighting" over slices of the same pie; more like we're /all/ baking more pies for people to enjoy! :)
