Does anyone even read Journals anymore?
Thank you for Super Street Fighter 4, which is basically just Street Fighter 4 with different intro, slightly different story and some added characters and new attacks, so everyone who has the inferior Street Fighter 4 may pay another 50 bucks to get a newer version of it. Good to see you haven't learned anything.
Also thank you for all this interesting new character exposition, because I really wanted to have one and a half minute of monologue from such quality characters as Ken, Blanka, Dudley and Guile. It really makes a fighting game so much better to hear them talk about their mother, children or roses. Really intensifies the game. Also yeah for more new Rufus dialogue, since he was so delightful to listen to (or read) the first time around.
Furthermore, I love how you practically didn't nerfed or un-nerfed anybody, so everyone can still use the same dirty tricks as before in multiplayer.
Thank you Capcom, you're still the best game developer of this planet.
And if you believed any of this wasn't meant as sarcasm, then you can fuck yourself right now.
Also, before any of you whine, no, I don't hate the game, its still a good fighting game, and Capcom is still a good company and I like Characters like Ryu or Ken and Guile, but really, be honest here, I want to see them fight, I don't want to hear them speak. Even less about pointless and unrelated shit for Christ sake.

I loved Street Fighter 4, but when Blazblue came out, I traded SF4 in for that and never looked back. It was quite impressive to see that Blazblue actually had a damn good story. Sure, some of the characters are quite incidental, and there's plenty of random goofiness, but just the way everything plays out, the story does an extremely good job in keeping things interesting.
BlazBlue's story is way better told. In the end, all character relationships are as flimsy and cheesy as in SF4, but Blazblue knows that. It tries to play with the cheesiness of Characters like for example BANG SHISHIGAMI, and doesn't try to make it all sound totally stern and serious.
And mostly, you can't make characters like Ryu, who when we learned of him in the first few versions of SF2 was just Karate guy in white and Ken was Karate guy in Red. We didn't cared about their story, about this evil empire, we just wanted to fuck someones day up by punching him and have a good time doing so. I don't care that Ken now has a family, I don't care that Blanka has a mum and how he wants to be extra awesome too show her he is good, I knew since SF2 that Kens partner is Charlie and probably dead (OR NOT DUN DUN DUN) and that he wants to destroy Shadoloo for it...since 1991!
And if I hear their voice actors do that half dramatic inner monologue whisper voice again, I'm gonna do a roadtrip to Capcoms headquarters and punch them with their own microphones.
