7. ummm.... I guess it would be the fear that one day there will be no more stories for me to read.... -_-

Um... let's see.... What made me pick you as the main character... There is a certain story I want to tell with Fallen Lands and using Krech as the main character would have just given everything away too early on. Plus, I wanted there to be a connection to what had gone on in the past (and, by the past I mean in the Redemption of my Old West stories). You provided both that connection and a way to give readers a window into the events happening in the story without giving away too much too quickly. It also gave me a way to update your character into a new setting (and who doesn't need a cute adventurous fox in their stories?).
Fallen Lands is also more than just an adventure story to me. There is a very personal aspect to it so it is going to have a lot of things going on that are, to be honest, quite painful for me. It's partially about learning to deal with that pain, realizing why those things are still affecting our lives and about learning to move on. So... don't rule out a happy ending. I just might not get there too quickly. It is supposed to be a trilogy, after all. ;p
