Trip to, heave and ho; Up, down, to and fro- You have no word
So I thought i'd draw some free stuff for some people.
First five people to comment get a free sketch?
But there is a catch.
I want to make friends here. I want to get to know people. Right now I guess since i'm still "new", not many people know me or are willing to get to know me, and it's sort of a comment by comment basis. I'm not looking for some kind of committed friendship (Unless you guys want to be that good of friends, haha.), but I would really like to know people here.
SO.
In order to get a sketch, here's what I want you to do:
-Tell me something about yourself you don't mind sharing. It can be your favourite food, or what you like to draw, or anything at all.
-Ask me a question. Please make it appropriate.. If it's something you wouldn't ask your grandma, don't ask me. ^^; But I want people to get to know me too. Ask about my fursona, or about me personally.
-Have a look through my gallery, and please give me a thoughtful comment on a piece you like. If you like, I'll also return this favour.
and finally..
-Let me know what you want drawn(one character, please.). First come first served, and please make this appropriate as well. I'm not gonna draw anything I don't feel comfortable with. also, depending on what you want drawn, it may not be fullbody I don't have much free time in my life, but I will put effort into these sketches. ^^

Hmm.. Something about myself, well I'm turning 21 soon, so I'm pleased about that bit, um I've been in the fandom since I was 13/14 ( I can't really remember ) so..s'been a while, yet I never changed my fursona, other then patterning.
What's your favorite food? Drink? and...Movie?
Um...characters... either sin or the dullard?
Thanks for sharing that! I love when people stick with an original fursona design. Minor changes are pretty much inevitable, I think. Way cool that you kept most of the design the same. n_n
-Hmm.. Well, I have a lot of favourite foods. I'd like to say anything without meat, since i'm a vegetarian, but that'd be cheating. xD I love all different ethnic dishes; it's really interesting to try them when i'm able to eat them. I'm a big fan of indian food since there is a lot that I can eat, and it's spicy. :D I also am addicted to fruits and berries.
-My favourite drink..
COFFEE. xD I'm a total addict to this, and my day isn't complete without a minimum of 3 cups a day. My kidneys will fail me someday, I just know it. xD
Other than coffee, my second favourite would either be tea or 100% juice of some kind.
-As for a movie, this is VERY hard. I can't choose favourites because I don't watch too many movies. But I will say my favourite genre of movie is either animated or drama. xD

I have quite a few consoles, because I find it very hard to throw stuff away from my past. ^^;
I've got : My original NES, SNES, Sega Genisis, Gameboy Colour, N64, and PS2. And a PC, of course. xD
My favourite game? I'm sort of nostalgic, in a way. I love the new games because of the awesome graphics, but that comes with a price, considering I get dizzy when I play the 3d games! So I don't play the newer ones often. D:
So to answer your question, I'd say my top favourite OLD games would be.. Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World, Anything Kirby, Mario Kart (for the N64), and going really old school, LOOM and Monkey Island for the PC. Good ole 32 bit adventurezz. xD
And sure! I'd love to give your character a shot. She's really pretty, I hope I can do her justice. ^^

I actually LOVE to cook.. The only problem is, most of the food I make is either too bland or inedible, haha. This is simply because I hate following recipes and like to whip my own stuff up. The favourite thing i've made is either my random stir fry dishes, or these amazing vegan cookies. I'm not vegan, but i found the recipe for a friend of mine, and I honestly don't know how cookies without egg or milk can taste so amazing. they taste even better than normal cookies, mann. :O
Ooh, a badge trade then? I think that would be amazing. It'd be upgraded from a sketch, probably a traditional badge of some kind. n_n
Throw me a note about how you'd prefer it to look (Anthro bust, or maybe a fullbody feral style, or chibi, etc. ) and i'll throw you a ref link for Icykat, 'cause i'd love if youd draw her for your half of the trade. <3

Mmm, I know what you mean. The great thing about stirfry is, that there are basically endless combinations of what you can put into the dish, and it's almost always guaranteed delicious. :D
I actually really love a simple fursona, though. I mean colour wise, IK has always been just a solid colour, and while it's fun to venture out and go crazy with colours too, I think it's more interesting to stick with a natural design or colourscheme for a fursona. It's almost a minority now, with the sparkledogs and neon coloured characters everywhere now. -nod-

I'm vegetarian too for almost one year now, I stop eating meat because I am first a mammal before an human being. So as long as I don't eat human people there is no reason for me to eat other species. Besides, fruits are so much tasty
Why do you represent yourself by a 'wildcat/gargoyle'? Isn't it a curious creature? Is there a story behind?

-Yes, Icykat is very curious. x3 I don't exactly know why I chose her to represent me, but when I was a child I used to have one character that represented each different emotion. Happy, sad, fear, anger.. I remember I made Icykat to be my sad/cautious emotion, but she really took over and became all other emotions as well.
As for gargoyle/cat, I really do love gargoyles and have always admired them. They represent protection and art, and some think they are horrible and others think they are beautiful. I really admire them this way. I also really love large wild cats. They are powerful and most of them are solitary, and they are all beautiful and unique. Although, I still dont know what kind of cat IK is supposed to bemixed with! xD

So to meet your requirements: I am a new-ish fur like yourself, and i have had some social problems revolving around being furry. I am also a college student, rocking out in the (hopefully) medical field. I love music, so so so much, and i like to dj. I can rock out with all sorts of techno: from happy hardcore, hardstyle, electro, drum and bass, i love it all!
So my question too you is: have you been to any conventions yet? It's a great experience! When i went to furcon, i was changed man! I fell in love!

And to answer your question..
No cons just yet. D:
They have always really interested me. I am a lover of art, and to me, fursuits are just as much of an artform as the drawings and fandom is. I love the aspect of dressing up in a furry costume and going somewhere and being ACCEPTED, regardless of your gender, your age, or your past experiences. I've also heard that furries are generally very friendly people, and I like that aspect of conventions, too. You don't get stared at at a con; you don't get judged.
Then again, I dont like ot go places by myself, and none of my friends'll ever come with me to a con. That, and I don't have an IK suit, and I wont go to a con unless I have one. ;_;

I've never tried drawing an otter before, but I do love 'em. I'll see what I can do. I know headphones are a must, but does it matter what style I draw him in, or whether it's a quad or anthro? :)
